Our guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby at 6:30AM in the morning at this point we will departure to Battambang, begin your day start with a short tour through Battambang’s charming city center. See the old French colonial buildings, local streets, markets, and riverside area while your guide explains the history and daily life of Battambang. Continue to Wat Samrong Knong, one of Battambang’s important historical and Buddhist sites. Learn about the temple’s history and its connection with Cambodia’s difficult past. Travel through the countryside and visit a traditional village where you can see how local families make rice paper and other Cambodian products. This is a great opportunity to meet local people and experience everyday rural life. Visit Wat Ek Phnom, an atmospheric Angkorian-era temple surrounded by countryside. Explore the ancient sandstone ruins and the nearby modern pagoda.

Enjoy lunch at a local Cambodian restaurant. Your guide can recommend traditional Khmer dishes and help you choose something suitable for your taste.

After lunch, enjoy one of Battambang’s most famous experiences with the Bamboo Train. Bamboo Train Ride through the countryside on the simple bamboo platform, passing rice fields and rural villages. The Bamboo Train is a fun and memorable way to experience a unique part of Battambang’s local travel culture. Continue to Phnom Sampeau, a spectacular limestone mountain with temples, caves, history, and panoramic countryside views. Phnom Sampow Pagoda to visit the hilltop pagoda and enjoy views across the surrounding rice fields. Continue to visit the Killing Cave, an important memorial site connected with the Khmer Rouge period.
